-Early discovery work: Helped the innovation team make selections for the next round of targets at H3. Extensively searched the literature for relevant papers, patents, and press releases. Worked with an interdisciplinary team to assess potential targets. Proposed a variety of chemistry strategies to attack difficult problems including heterobifunctional degraders (PROTACs), molecular glues, DEL and traditional HTS screens. -Kinase program 2: Chemistry lead in charge of 15 chemists at a CRO. Designed follow-up analogues to initial hits from an HTS, using modeling (MOE, LiveDesign, Spark) to improve potency and PK. progressed the program into late lead optimization. -Kinase program 1: Managed a team of 15 chemists at a CRO, designed compounds for synthesis based on potency and DMPK data. Took a lead compound and improved ADME, solubility, CYP issues and in vivo PK while retaining excellent potency. Progressed the program to late lead optimization and towards candidate selection.-Splicing platform: Synthesized complex analogues of natural products, analyzed cellular, biochemical and DMPK assay data and designed new targets.
