Managing and controlling the Sun database and workflow systems within The Royal British LegionDatabase Management• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Sun and Proactis databases ensuring system integration and consistency with other key Legion systems.• Monitoring and improving database performance.• Supporting the Finance Systems Project Team with any queries linked to the implementation of Open Accounts, including migration, cleansing and migration of data, liaising with Sun Systems Support (Sapphire) where required.• Ensuring data integrity and adequate financial controls within the Sun system, trouble shooting any issues with the help of external systems support where necessary.• Responsible for documenting system configuration and managing any changes to the system (through the Legion’s Change Control procedures) to ensure business continuity.User Training and Support• Create, maintain and implement user training and documentation for Sun.• Act as the ‘Super User’ and first point of contact in providing technical support for all Sun users.
