Origin Business Partner, working for Eraring power station as the site Safety Supervisor, daily site interactions with our onsite contractors, Downer, UGL and various others. Working with the team for the major dam upgrade, corporate safety meetings, site leadership team meetings and weekly meetings with our various other site safety teams. I was in charge of setting up for the 750 man major shutdown works set to commence in August 2019. Reviewing all contractor safety compliance documentation inclusive of management plans, risk assessments, as well as running daily contractor leadership team pre~starts and weekly contractor safety meetings.

Safety manager, International/National Respite holiday mentoring guide, mentor educator,

International Safety Manager for the multi nation special Olympics held in Newcastle. The role included risk assessing all external accomodation hubs, spanning from the central coast to the Hunter Valley Vineyards and Nelson Bay for compliance, suitability for dissability. My role was responsible for all event site risk assessments and compliance as well as Emergency evacuation planning, The role meant that all planning was done at a state government level in conjunction with 4 local councils. I also frequently had meetings with all branches of Emergency services, transport, International doctors, the Special Olymipcs Committee. The 2013 Special olympics opening ceremony was at the Newcastle Football stadium with international guests, local and international performers and both international & national Government representatives. Great experience & complete success for Newcastle and surrounding region.

Work health Safety & environmental advisor. Our team wasresponsible for Developing the Wh&s Management plan as well as the Environmental plan for site works. Overseeing all safety compliance, while all site fire systems for both under ground and surface works were implemented for both the coal storage site and the Ports shipping terminal.

Worked on handpicked FIFO projects world wide. One of my favourite roles being assigned as the Safety Manager for the worlds biggest brick lined autoclave, built on Lihir island New Guinea for Newcrest Mining in 2010/2012. The job was completed on time, on budget with no injuries. Very proud of this accomplishment which also led to the full maintenance contract on not only the new autoclave built but all other existing autoclaves on site. We also sponsored one of the local schools on the island. I really fell in love with the cultureI & became really good friends with one of the local lihirians. One we completed the project I flew him to Australia to experience Australian culture and lifestyle and to take this knowlede back home to educate & make a difference in his community.
