Responsible for supervising co-workers in the management of avalanche terrain and providing safety and emergency services to skiers. Expert skiing and mountaineering skills are mandatory. Medical skills are required along with extensive knowledge of avalanche mitigation and snow safety. Mountain set up and breakdown to provide direction and safety for members. Weekly medical training and scenario execution.

Navigate the Gallatin River in a paddle raft in a safe and prudent manner with 2-8 clients. Provide first aid/CPR/swift water rescue to customers and novice river runners. Trip lead and organize multiple raft trips with focus on group and safety management. Train and assist first/second year guides on safety and river procedure.

Guiding clients on one to six day wilderness adventures. Responsibilities include prepping trips (gear and food), conducting pre-trip orientations, all cooking, all cleaning, repair and maintenance of gear, completion of a daily trip log, de-issuing/cleaning gear post trip, completion of a trip debrief form, and providing an immensely positive, unforgettable outdoor experience for guests. Competence with backcountry travel and exceptional soft skills as well as group and safety management.
