• Manage a team of up to 16 responsible for supporting 3 business units (Ortronics, Electrorack, and Lastar).• Partner with leaders of each of the other functional areas to improve the performance of Legrand• Interpretation and implementing IFRS and Corporate Policy throughout the organization• Supervision of RVR (similar to Sarbanes-Oxley) testing and reporting of results. Analysis of internal control environment and correction of deficiencies as necessary.• Lead General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and POS reporting functions• Manage year-end financial audits. Act as lead liaison with external auditors. Improve processes and controls based on their recommendations.• Ensure accuracy of all accounts and support for judgmental reserves, timely reconciliation, and use consistent methodologies across the business. • Manage tax related activities; ensure that the LNA Tax department has the information they require. Strive to limit tax exposures and costs.• Support regional tax authority filings and audits, including VAT in EMEA and APAC.• Support roll-out of international model into additional regions.• Supervise fixed asset accounting and schedule fixed asset inventories with site locations.• Perform impairment testing on tangible and intangible assets.• Develop a highly trained and empowered finance team that embraces continuous improvement and relentlessly eliminates non-value added activities.

• Responsible for global consolidation and financial reporting to Schneider Corporate Headquarters ($2.7 billion EUR annual revenue ~115 legal entities/~68 reporting entities). Utilize Oracle for most entities and the consolidation, but also extract data from SAP and several small local statutory systems. Produce reports in Hyperion and perform monthly flux analysis in order to validate entity data prior to reporting.• Supervise local and remote staff. Up to 4 direct reports (3 local and 1 remote). Responsible for all North American accounting and global consolidation work of Philippines Financial Shared Service Center (11 people). Regular travel to the Philippines for training and development. • Assist FP&A, Lines of Business, and Regions in preparing forecasts by analyzing and projecting components of support function costs. Some relevant SFC costs include salaries, sales/incentive bonuses, shared service center chargebacks, occupancy, datacom, warranty, freight, travel, bad debt and advertising.

I am currently managing the North American general accounting function for APC. I directly supervise 3 associates in RI, 1 in CA, and 1 in the Philippines.
