The Command and Staff College Distance Education Program is a graduate-level, seminar-centric, intermediate-level college professional military education (PME) program. It satisfies joint PME requirements. The program provides students with an understanding of the relationships among the strategic, operational, and tactical levels of war. The focus is to develop U.S. military professionals, international military officers, and U.S. interagency personnel who understand the capabilities and potential roles of a Marine Air-Ground Task Force in a joint, multinational, and interagency environment.

Operated as an Instructor/Adviser at the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center. The Center trains 7-10K US and foreign military annually and provides training specific to mountainous terrain in both summer and winter environments. As an Instructor/Adviser I worked directly with the senior leadership at the Battalion level who command +800 troops. For the last week these large units conduct mountain warfare operations with specific objectives. For several days straight I observe their operations and give guidance as needed. Afterward the teams observations/recommendations are presented internally for discussion then we generate and present an executive level report to an audience of +100 leaders.

Senior manager with 10 direct reports representing 150 peopel. Supervised the re-integration of +100 Marines coming back from Afghanistan while getting another 50 ready to deploy. I was given the privilege of leading this team independent of our parent command which enabled some unique training. I created & executed a hybrid engineering/infantry training schedule that required my leadership team to work closely with several Federal and State agencies. In total we had 20 vehicles and heavy equipment totaling +$20M.

I also given a territory prior to completing new hire training-a challenge but also a complement from the leadership in my abilities.

Managed the ESS retail market throughout the majority of entities inside the Department of Defense to include all AAFES, Navy, USMC Exchanges and other retail outlets, both on and off military instillation's. I also acted as the sales to production liaison by forecasting sales consistently which required balancing order timely order fulfillment and excess inventory.

This included raw, in-process and final product. I also worked with custom window/door makers to understand their specific QC needs and supervised custom runs as needed.
