As a Product Manager, I helped create and maintain the company's core HP Product Line which peaked at $110M/Year and then went on to launch the IBM Product Line which went from a $1M/year category to a peak of nearly $40M/Year with 20% margins. Further responsibilities included;- Inventory Management; managing an inventory of $1.5-$2M with an average monthly turn of 1.2 with neglible annual losses- Buying Duties; backorder fulfillment, forecasting, and large bundle/stocking purchases. Includes helping develop replenishment model for company.- Sales Support; Working directly with sales executives and inside reps in all stages of order quotation, order management, configuration and order delivery.- Vendor Relations; development, screening, and management of new vendors while also identifying new opportunities with current vendors. Developing long term and mutually profitable business and personal relationships with vendors and business partners.- Product Champion; Knowing which IBM deals to go for and how to quote them according to market- where to find EOL and constrained products in world markets.Quality Control- responsible for the creation and implementation of anti-counterfeit quality control process for IBM product line; this includes the training of employees and vendors on counterfeit identification procedures and how to avoid risky procurement practices.
