My work with the Vancouver Symphony Society focused on prospecting and stewarding corporations to support 150 concerts, 13 educational programs and outreach initiatives. There are several ways that corporations support the VSO including: series and concert sponsorships, corporate donations and gift in kind donations.My responsibilities included being the lead contact person for the following companies who support the VSO: TELUS, Air Canada, Goldcorp, London Drugs, Mardon Group Insurance, RBC, Rogers Financial Group, Vancouver International Airport, BMO, CIBC, KPMG, PwC, Scotiabank along with 100 other large and medium size businesses. I also organized our Spring and Fall silent auctions where over 200 corporations participate each season.
