I spent a decade working in nonprofits in roles that required me to collect, manage, analyze, and/or report data about our programs & services. While there, I led the roll out and administration of ETO and helped our organization collect, use, and report data to our funders. While there, I learned how beneficial data can be, but also how challenging it is to maintain high quality data while running a multi-service organization. I earned a graduate degree in sociology from The Ohio State University, and that when I really learned to analyze and use data to understand our world. Later, I worked for a foundation where I managed all data collection, analysis, and reporting with our network of more than 100 nonprofits that received support from the foundation. While there, I experienced many of the challenges smaller nonprofits face today. In particular, I learned how time consuming it can be to manage data spread across multiple spreadsheets.All of that experience led me to start CountBubble, LLC. We're building a web app that empowers small, human service nonprofits to collect and report program data. We made countbubble simple, affordable, and easy to adopt.
