I grew up in the midwest, then trained on the east coast, and now Pacific Northwest resident. I began my architecture career in 2003 at a small firm in New York, where I learned the ins and outs of the craft. In ’07 moved across the country seeking a better quality of life in the Bay Area, and by 2010 my business partner and I started our own firm. While building this business, I learned how to collaborate from different offices across several cities efficiently. This came in handy when I decided to move to Portland after I fell in love with the town during a motorcycle trip to the Arctic Circle.Having worked at small companies and international design firms (i.e. Perkins Eastman and Gensler), I have touched many project types from housing and medical to a cultural center and education facilities. Now an associate at Pinnacle Architecture, I focus on community based projects like behavioral health, medical centers, low income and senior housing. This has brought a rewarding and fulfilling next step to my career.
