After completing my honours degree in Building Surveying I was employed as a property loss assessor for Cunningham & Lyndsey in Ireland and Australia. There my role was to investigate, negotiate and settle assigned claims in a timely manner. I also had to determine coverage and validity of claims. I also worked for a short period as a Building Surveyor in Melbourne before returning to Ireland in 2009 to complete my BA in applied social studies. Since then I worked for Focus Ireland as property management team leader in focus housing. My role involves managing the staff team in the provision of the property maintenance and facilities services in the Dublin area. Other responsibilities include managing annual budgets, rent collection, maintaining accurate records and forecasting future requirements. I also provide constant vendor/contractor communications in relation to scheduling, billing, vendor relations and certificates of Insurance. Since Leaving Focus Ireland I became Director in Leinster Property Assessors are an independent professional property assessing company. We are highly skilled and accomplished providers in the energy and environmental fields.
