- Opportunity to manage 2 departments consisting of 3 teams each over 2 years as a Team Leader.- Responsible for organising best practice within each team and department and setting clear KPIs, targets and lead times within an agile environment. - Day to day maintenance and health check of customer accounts, industry updates and liaising with 3rd parties to complete data correction, verification, and updates.- Initially there to work and manage the day to day within the company’s Operations department, eventually clearing down existing backlogs way ahead of expectations allowing for time to develop and aid the newly started company shape their ways of working.- Communicating complex industry changes to my colleagues and seniors and providing communications to be cascaded into other areas of the business.

Responsibilities:- General smooth running of the shows and events. Including managing the spotlights and other equipment. Helping and assisting the client’s setup and clean-up.- Reactive maintenance and troubleshooting of problems.- Installing and rigging the lightning and other equipment to a plan before any events and testing they work.

• Apprenticed as a CNC setter/operator. Becoming proficient at these quickly prompted development to a high skilled position ahead of plan. Proved my acumen for computer-based applications and was chosen to develop and advance my skills in CAD/CAM/CMM inspection.• After a period of using CAD and CAM in a self-learning environment, the company supported my development into formally learning WorkNC, Solidworks and VisiCAD programs.• Regularly organizing and overseeing solo and team projects from start to finish, including designing and revising CAD and drawings, creating CAM programs, and material acquisition for the completion of projects. Ensuring the clear time frames for completion were adhered to and exceeded where possible.• Running and set-up the inspection reports for the CMM.• Communicating with customers on a regular basis to understand their specific technical needs for the project at hand, as well as meeting them face to face in order to consult in real time over the design work and the decisions and concessions to be made to fit timing and design constraints.• Extensive work in a variety of industries including injection mould tooling, automotive sheet-metal press tools, cast iron and aluminium tooling and patterns, inspection, and weld fixtures.• Analysing overall production costs and presenting the most economic and efficient solution.• Regular IT maintenance and assistance. Regular CNC/CMM maintenance and troubleshooting faults.• Ensuring health and safety requirements are met and exceeded on a per job and holistic level.• Provide preventive maintenance to tools and machines to ensure an efficient flow of work and reduce down time.
