After successfully completing the Sports Massage module, I offered treatment to clients in Enfield and North London.

Within the University course there was an organised Massage & Injury Clinic where techniques learnt during teaching hours could be developed.

The placement year developed skills learnt while studying, through practicing a variety of treatment techniques and implementing rehabilitation programmes. Assisting the first team therapist lead to broadening knowledge of injuries, and improving exercise selection and prescription to ensure recovery is both safe and effective. The main role was working with the BW Pase Academy conducting assessments, constructing and applying rehabilitation programmes and guaranteeing return to play criteria was met. Also, through being a pitch side first aider on a weekly basis for academy fixtures, confidence and injury management was enhanced. Following the sandwich year, I am working part-time to continue developing my skills alongside my final year undergraduate studies.
