I am currently a Senior Director for Microsoft, leading a portfolio of Data Center programs that include; AI Data Center Design and Construction, Traditional Data Center Design and Construction, Optimizing existing Data Center campuses, introducing new innovative equipment and technology into our cloud portfolio. I've had the wonderful opportunity at Microsoft to collaborate and develop programs that have saved the company billions of dollars, via the improved utilization of our energy on our active campuses, new data center development in many geographies across the globe, complex retrofit programs inside of active facilities, and have developed patents collaboratively across the company. I have participated in multiple levels and areas of Construction Program Management throughout my career, developing plans to develop in new and existing regions across the globe. I have built teams from the ground up, lived in multiple wonderful parts of the world, worked with various wonderful different cultures, and negotiated favorable agreements in more than 10 countries. I was lucky enough to get into the “Data Center building boom” in it’s early phases. This involved dealing with massive amounts of ambiguity in a new industry in general, and then began to introduce many new and cutting edge Innovation & Sustainability Programs, as well as Design & Construction Development, Retrofits in live environments, and building some of the fastest and most efficient buildings in the industry today. I've been lucky enough to build billions of dollars in greenfield buildings, as well as over one billion in live facility retrofits. Running multiple programs globally in parallel, while building new teams and taking on new challenges. I started early in life working for a small outfit from a young age in Ohio, when I could first get my work permit at the age of 14. I worked my way up from the “shop floor’ so to speak, to becoming a foreman for a subcontractor while going to school at the same time, then to work for a General Contractor, then lucky to be recruited to Microsoft.A few of the wonderful Projects & Programs I've been lucky enough to be a part of include: - The New York Yankees Stadium- II World Trade Center Preconstruction Team - Healthcare, both greenfield hospitals and retrofits - High tech industrial manufacturing on a multi billion dollar program for Boeing's 777X fabrication facility- Data Center New Builds and live facility retrofits- AI Construction Developement
