I am excited to introduce myself, my name is Ryan Chasse and my focus is in aviation. I am a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University where I pursued a career in Air Traffic Control and maintained my status on the presidents list for the entirety of my education, as well as was awarded outstanding student in my major. Throughout my education I was able to work with many outstanding, and highly respected, air traffic controllers and professors who pushed me to be a committed, successful student in my field. Aviation has always been a substantial part of my life, as well as a life long interest of mine. From a young age I began flying single engine aircrafts, then I moved forward with this interest by enrolling myself in aviation camps and experiences where I was able to travel and better understand the workings of many different airports. This includes large airports such as joint use military airports such as Pease International, commercial use airports such as Manchester-Boston Regional Airport and Portland International Jetport, and countless other general aviation locations across New England. My experiences through work and activities have allowed me to become proficient in many areas of skills and knowledge that pertain to my life long goals of working in the field of aviation. Some of these skills that I have acquired include my management skills through leading groups of up to eight employees on the scheduled busiest days during my time in the local supermarkets, as well as leading groups of up to four employees while maintaining important safety regulations in my current occupation as a ramp agent. My communication skills through effectively talking with pilots and flight crew with aviation specific language, and my analytical and organizational skills through keeping track of, and filing, necessary paperwork that is required before flights can safely depart from our ramp with both cargo and passengers on board.
