Clinical Research Intern
● Call and send letters to recruit dozens of subjects into IRB-approved stroke and spinal cord research studies● Assist researchers with collecting patient data (analyzing LabChart and MATLAB plots in real time, setting desired stimulus magnitude for TMS and CCFES devices, etc.)● Provide patients/subjects assistance during data collection (apply resistance to extremities during data collection, hold extremities in a suitable position, etc.)● Student Coordinator for the Stroke Research Participant Registry based out of the Cleveland Clinic o Provide patients who have suffered a stroke, and are interested in research, an easier point of access to see available research in the area o Coordinate with multiple Stroke Research lab teams in the North-East Ohio area to expand the reach of the existing registry and provide a single point of information dissemination
