I graduated from Holt High School and attended the University of Alabama for 5 years, with fields of study in Business, Computer Information Systems (CIS), and Nursing. Due to life circumstances I did not complete my time at the UA, and began working full time at our family business.I began my career with the City of Tuscaloosa in 2009 and obtained my Water Grade I operator license in November of 2009.I have thoroughly enjoyed my years working in the Water Industry and take pride in doing my part to help deliver clean drinking water to the people of our city. Working my way up from a crew worker at our Distribution/Repair shop to our Engineering Dept., I feel has given me a unique perspective on design and maintenance of water lines. This has helped me to see how things that may look good on paper or in the office, may not always be possible or practical in the field.Also my years of working at our family business have helped me to be more well rounded and taught me the value of hard work.My years of working in the private business sector and now working for the City government has helped me to see both sides of the fence, and understand how one can effect the other when developing and planning projects.
