• Provide financial information and support Directors and Engineers• In depth knowledge of Sage Line 50, Job Costing and Payroll• Quarterly VAT returns for 5 companies (standard and cash accounting)• Monthly bank reconciliations – 5 accounts• Payroll x 4 companies, including RTI/ year end/ P11D’s• Monthly CIS returns, plus verification and payments to sub-contractors• ECITB completion of the Statutory Manpower and Payroll form• Reconciliation of intercompany accounts and resolving queries • Reconciliation of payroll against job costing entries• Responsible for collating mileage for company fleet (in excess of 50 vehicles) and associated costs. Making recommendations to directors regarding lease/purchase• Involved in preparation of work in progress figures in order to prepare month end journals • Sales and purchase ledger• Liaising with customers and suppliers to resolve purchase and sale invoice queries• Responsible for setting up new suppliers in banking system and arranging payments – Sterling and Foreign currency• Monthly reconciliation of supplier payments• Training junior members of staff• Involved in preparing/maintenance of cash flows for five companies• Responsible for implementing purchase order processing within job costing, including creation of reports and staff training• Calculate rebate for clients and identify areas where rebate was not implemented due to late payment terms• Calculation of dayworks to be invoiced to clients
