The first was to implement an agile development process that would shorten our time to market and the second was to increase the quality of our software.After analyzing the development process that was in place, I developed a plan and a road map that would allow my team to meet these goals. With the support of the leadership team as well as my own teams (development and QA), I lead the effort to successfully transition the company to an agile development process which centered around quality. Application ArchitectMyriad Genetics May 2007 - Oct 2010Salt Lake City, Utah, UsDesigned a modern Enterprise Architecture that saved the company 100+ hours per project across architecture, design, development, testing and maintenance.Responsible for designing and implementing the architecture of the application server tier consisting of the hardware, a suite of VMs and JBoss EAP server farms. My goals were automation of the install and reducing downtime related to software upgrades. These goals were met by automating the install process such that it was capable of creating a new HA JBoss environment from scratch in less than 15 minutes.
