In this role, I manage key markets across the UK & Ireland, including Dublin, Belfast, Brighton, Manchester, Liverpool and many more. My core responsibilities are to ensure Hosts in my markets are fully optimised so they can maximise their revenue on the platform, as well as support their growth and development. I also work with multiple stakeholders internally to ensure that the platform is set up to ensure Host success, providing feedback and ideas on how we can do this better.

In this position I have developed and refined my skills in leading change and driving results through nurturing talent within the teams on my ships. I have worked with teams ranging from 11 to 25 people and created a culture of sales focus and maximized customer engagement. This has been achieved by the consistent training and development of new Sales Associates, Fine Jewellery and Fine Watch Specialists, and Assistant Managers, raising their knowledge and understanding of the business and ingraining the vision and mission statement of our company into the foundation of our operation. Passing on my skills and experience at clienteling to my teams has been a key factor in building long term relationships with our customers and ensuring they return to shop with us on their next vacation. The ability to regularly hit monthly sales budgets throughout my career has been accomplished also by focusing on our high end brands, like Tag Heuer, Hublot, Omega, Coach, Michael Kors, and numerous Fine Jewellery brands. I have driven monthly sales budgets of over 1 million USD, and on several occasions going 10 to 20% over budget. Being a Multi-Unit Retail Manager requires me to leverage my knowledge and experience and work with my team to ensure the high standards of these brands are met on a day to day basis. Another important asset is being flexible with shifting cruise itineraries and customer demographics, as no two weeks are ever the same. Working with a diverse multi-cultural team and customer demographic (from more than 60 nationalities) brings me a high level of satisfaction. Being able to drive revenue in this fast paced environment with my teams throughout the challenging times is what I have enjoyed most about this job. Other aspects of the job which I appreciate include business analysis in terms of stock management and call outs, asset protection, floor plan productivity and staff scheduling.

After 6 months in the Sales Associate role, I was promoted to this position. I was in charge of driving revenue across several different categories from Luxury Fine Jewellery & Swiss Timepieces, to Liquor, Fragrances, Cosmetics, Luxury Leather and more. My main responsibilities included coaching and developing members of my team in order to create a high performing sales environment through enhanced customer engagement, and developing strategic marketing strategies in partnership with the management team. Success in this allowed me the opportunity to work on the Oasis Class Ships, the biggest retail operation at sea with a monthly sales budget of over 2 million USD, as a Promotional Manager, Operations Manager, and as a Luxury Jewellery & Watch Manager.

After one month of employment working with Liquor, Watches and Apparel, I was promoted to become a Fine Jewellery and Fine Watch Specialist, responsible for driving the highest revenue at the sales associate level on this ship. I was able to do this by quickly building strong connections with our clients, my colleagues, and working in liason with management. Over the period of 5 months in this position I began to develop my leadership skills.

I worked here in the evenings and weekends throughout the time I was enrolled in formal education, and then full time. I worked with apparel, groceries and operations, driving initiatives with the management and focusing mostly on engaging with customers at different events throughout the year and driving sales through these events. I also mentored and coached new staff members who were partnered with me in sales, monitored stock levels in their area, and visual elements of their role. This job also provided me with extensive customer service training.

I completed an internship as a Pharmaceutical Research Assistant working with people from all over the world, developing cutting edge pain relief delivery systems.

I worked here in the evenings and weekends before I turned 16. I was regularly left in charge of the shop throughout most the day and in the evenings as the manager deemed me responsible enough to manage the day to day operations and look after his business.
