Being work in several hotels banquet department, I am skilled with service techniques and food & beverage knowledge. I am committed to learn more on leadership and management skills for my future career development.I am now working at Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong as a Assistant Banquet Operations Manager. I have been working there for almost a year and I am mainly responsible for taking care of the night events such as a Chinese wedding banquet and an offsite event. I also worked in Grand Hyatt as a Assistant Banquet Manager that is a one of the most important working experiences for me. I experienced large scale in-house meeting such as CLSA conference and offsite cocktails with 2000 pax , huge off site events such as APA Charity dinner with 400 pax, Moet Wine dinner with 300 pax, Macallan whisky testing and pairing dinner 3 Days events at central Plaza, influential government officers' conferences etc. Those experiences taught me the importance of planning and co-ordinating, skills in problem solving, and handling ad hoc issues as a leader. Apart from operation, my job duties include preparing casual workers' schedule, co-ordinating with engineering department for the property maintenance, events logistics and transportation, colleagues' allowances and tips, etc.
