Founded and currently coordinate with the Home Performance Contractors Guild, serving the Portland Metro and surrounding areas. Through membership dues and outside funding the HPCG has helped create a full-time position for an Executive Director responsible for the management of 18 member contractor firms, 4 distributors, and 3 energy management firms. The HPCG has also been instrumental in the shared development and successful implementation of Enhabit (formerly Clean Energy Works Portland).

Responsible for the management of successful and timely installation of high-end residential and light commercial heating, cooling, dehumidification and fresh air mechanical systems.

Primary charter is to develop, execute and maintain business and contractual relationships with Home Performance Contractors, Seismic Contractors, Solar Contractors and HVAC Contractors across the state of Oregon and Southwest Washington. I have demonstrated my exceptional commitment to Enhabit’s contractor base and investment in knowledge and skill development by:● Successfully secured and helped implement a $100,000 FEMA Pre-Disaster Mitigation Grant, working collaboratively with the Director of Portland Bureau of Emergency Management and State Office of Emergency Management. My efforts to secure and implement the grant resulted in twenty-three homes seismically upgraded leading to a second round of funding ($500,000) and significant business growth (over 4000 seismic interested Enhabit applicants to date).● Contracted and collaborated with a software developer to build a platform which refines and simplifies the collection of complicated home performance data. The alignment of this data collection with newly developed national HPXML standards allowed Enhabit to convert data to actionable business metrics, driving additional operational efficiency into the business. ● Identified the opportunity to partner with the University of Oregon’s indoor air quality research study - scheduled to complete and publish in 2017, the results of which are expected to drive new product-lines, new revenue, as well as regional and national recognition associated with the importance of indoor air quality. ● Supported Enhabit’s accountability to the U.S. Department of Energy, overseeing more than $20M in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds. Responsible for program design, online infrastructure, contract negotiations, and partnership development and maintenance. To date, this program has resulted in the upgrade of 5000 homes, created living wage jobs and spurred substantial economic development throughout a lengthy recession.

Responsible for the development of process flow systems for detailed and comprehensive home energy assessments, energy system project scopes/bid development, supporting sales in working with prospects, and opportunities.● Over one hundred comprehensive home assessments completed, generating energy retrofit projects converted to completion for direct revenue contributions of greater than $650,000 in 2010.● Developed, trained and mentored 3 Home Performance Technicians in their careers to achieve full Building Performance Institute (BPI) Technician/Sales status. ● Led a team of 3 Auditor/Sales staff, 1 Project Manager and 5 Field Technicians focused on pipeline conversions of comprehensive assessments to energy retrofit projects to achieve the greatest possible revenue while delivering highest possible customer experience.

Developed comprehensive system for providing energy conservation home assessment services to residential homeowners. Diagnostic Testing: Blower door, duct blaster, combustion appliance zone testing, true flow metering, thermal image analysis, and heat loss calculations. Project Management: Supervised affiliate sub-contractors in completing detailed work scope of recommended improvements. Performed post-testing to quantify performance improvement. Provided pre- and post-testing evaluation and documentation of savings to assist client in obtaining cash incentives and tax credits.

Managed all sub-contractors and crews including, excavators, concrete, plumbers, electricians, HVAC, drywallers, flooring, roofers, and landscapers. Orchestrated all phases of construction management while completing framing, siding, painting and finish carpentry. All projects were brought to completion on time and within budget allowances. New Construction: 4,200 Sq. ft. spec home (sales price, $473,000), 2 Accessory dwelling units (sales prices $150,000.00-$225,000), New home framing. Remodeling: 2,200 sq. ft. home addition (project cost, $300,000), 900 sq. ft. home complete remodel (sales price, $238,000). Other remodel projects included bathrooms, master suites, and decks.
