I also maintain a direct relationship with the owner(s) of Campbell & Syme, an independent cafe and roastery who roast out signature coffee blend.I am personally responsible for the overall maintenance of Fred & Ginger’s Berkhamsted branch. I was the acting General Manager after the transfer of the previous GM. I’m an enthusiastic manager with drive, determination and a proven ability to ensure that a restaurant operates efficiently and profitably. I have a track record of maximizing guest customer satisfaction, through events such as Live Opera evenings, whilst maintaining high standards of food and service that present a positive and fashionable image of the business. As a TEFL qualified teacher, I was required to write and implement fun, active and innovative lessons to engage students to the highest degree. Content for lesson plans usually involved: frameworked fictional writing, games, research on global news. Alongside this, I encouraged peer-to-peer reinforcement to positively correct misused grammar and language structures. I taught classes ranging in various levels of skill and age (from 3-17 years old).

I worked as member of the kitchen staff in Blatchington Mill School and Sixth Form. As the supervisor my job role was to coordinate and manage a seventeen-member staff crew within the school’s tight time schedule whilst also remaining calm and motivated. My personal aim as supervisor was to strengthen team dynamics/relations, and to increase work productivity. Access to a school environment also allowed me to interact with teachers and students, expanding my interactive communicative abilities

As a Maestro, my main priority was training, mentoring and coaching new members of staff. Then, as a Shift Leader, I was required to successfully lead a team of Baristas to deliver outstanding service to the public. Working closely with the public allowed me to become highly adaptable to ever-changing situations and scenarios.
