Supervised the content of a ship-wide newsletter that detailed events, then conducted them.▪ 1-hour PowerPoint presentation once or twice a week on local history, art, and culture.▪ Weekly 2-3 hour live, scenic commentary while sailing by castles, vineyards, and other ships;also discussed river features as well as relevant legends and poems.▪ Conducted twice weekly onboard, evening entertainment such as music, quiz programs, andgame shows.Added new initiatives to enhance performance and job satisfaction of the 50 crew members.▪ Developed and implemented communications techniques that improved interpersonal relation- ships and quality of service to the guests.

Led groups of up to 48 students and adults traveling throughout Italy, The Vatican, France, Monaco, Austria, Germany, Spain, The United Kingdom, and Greece. Conducted tours 3 to 4 weeks per year. Performed all activities ranging from meeting students at the airport to their return. Arranged local transportation, made and confirmed reservations at restaurants and hotels, prepared the group for traveling, managed logistics and communications, gave walking tours and commentaries, and provided in-transit entertainment. On-duty 24 hours a day, ensuring participants’ safety, answering their questions, and managing any emergencies that might arise.
