My friendly, open and approachablenature helps build good relationships and understanding withcolleagues, ensuring a strong team morale.Key Skills• Demonstrate excellent safety behaviours at all times and have confidence to stop any unsafe acts witnessed• Vast experience with offshore electrical power generation and distribution systems, maintenance and testing operations• Ability to communicate effectively at client and technical levels• Strong team building skills• Good understanding of HSE regulations• Shutdown and outage planningResponsibilities• Carry out testing, fault finding and repair on any equipment breakdowns and power distribution failures• Re-instate platform power after planned and unplanned shutdowns, high level shutdown testing and in black start scenarios.• Starting and auto/manual synchronising of emergency and main generators.• HV & LV Switching • and maintenance• Apply and remove CMEs and Busbar Earths• Proficient in Maximo, closing out Preventative Maintenance Work Orders, maintenance reporting, raising Work Requests, creating Corrective Work Orders and ordering materials• Major Shutdown workscope planning, including permit preparation, creating Switching Plans and Job Step Plans.Vast experience in carrying out maintenance, testing, fault finding and repair on the following equipment;• Solar Turbines• Emergency Generators• HV and LV power distribution networks and equipment• UPS systems• ABB VSDs• GEC and S&I Switchgear• Protection Relays• Platform Cranes and MIPEG Systems
