During my time at North Carolina State University I have become very diversified in my education due to changing my major 3 times. This might seem like a negative, but this allowed me to learn material in many subject matters someone in one major might not get to experience. Finally, I found what I really wanted to do, which was to help others medically and this fell under Human Biology. Since I switched to Human Biology I have taken courses mainly in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and philosophy/psychology. Over the course of my life I have many jobs with varying backgrounds. Before college, I worked at in many sports related jobs that included working basketball camps as a counselor and at national basketball tournaments keeping game books and score. I also worked in retail selling shoes and other products. In college, my work experiences include an internship with the Miami Heat, working at a restaurant close to campus and currently I am employed at Maxim Health Care Services. Through all my work experiences, I have become a better overall rounded individual and this has led to professional goals I currently have. These include my aspirations to help others in need of medical attention and to become proficient in preventative medicine techniques. As a result, I plan on going to Medical, Physician's Assistant (PA) or Chiropractic school in the next few years.
