With nearly 10 years working full time in retail I feel I can bring a lot to your company. Starting off as a temporary nightshift colleague, I have proven myself time and time again and in doing so I have progressed through the company swiftly. Having spent many years as a Team Leader to eventually becoming a Team Manager.I have been a Manager within Tesco for over 3 years and I feel the time has come to chase new opportunities and new challenges. I feel the skills I have learned during my time in Tesco could be well utilised to bring something new to your company.In addition to this, you will benefit from the experience I have garnered in my past jobs, most of which have been in retail. I have the ability to work in any setting, whether it be large and fast paced or small and personal. Crucially, people find me easy to approach and talk to, this has been proven by customer research surveys, which were completed during my current and previous employment.I have completed my management training in Tesco which involves attending several training courses, as well as actively working in the role of a manager to prove I am capable. I was signed off in this over 3 years ago and have been in the role of an acting manager ever since in various capacities. From 'Stock and Admin', to 'Grocery' management, in which I have been the manager of teams of various sizes from 12 to nearly 40 colleagues.During my time managing these teams I have garnered much experience from all elements of working for one of the biggest employers in the country. Recruitment, performance reviews, merchandising, sales targets and shrink and waste KPIs, as well as many other skills which I could use to better your company.Beyond all this, I have a great passion for computing and technology as well as a thirst for acquiring new knowledge. Having studied computing to various degrees and have a keen understanding of many things, such as excel, word and many other programs. In turn, I could pass this knowledge, passion and willingness to gain new skills to all potential and existing colleagues.
