Through close to 5 years with BestBuy, I have worked from a seasonal employee to Geek Squad Manager. Working in a range of departments from Computers/Digital Imaging, Mobile & Connected Devices, and Geek Squad has helped me acquire the skills and knowledge needed to succeed . In 1 and a half years with BestBuy I was promoted to Geek Squad Supervisor in a small format store. I learned the operational side of the business through the warehouse style processes while communicating with the Distribution Center and Service Center. Amidst this I developed the soft skills and development of employees while maintaining customer satisfaction through surveys and feedback. After another 1 and a half years and a sharp incline in operational and revenue driven metrics, I moved to the 3rd largest store in the region and am currently a Geek Squad Manager sharpening my business and operational skill sets. I am grateful to have been chosen almost 5 years ago to retain my job after the holidays. The knowledge learned has given me the acumen to be confident in my business decisions and will be a foundation for any future endeavor.
