I work with all aspects of the business, primarily focusing on the finance and executive leadership roles within our management team. I work with 3 great team members who's primary roles include handling the retail and commercial sales leadership within our company, and the daily operations of our company. As CEO and CFO, each day is different than the one before, and each challenge and success within the business has its own difficulties and rewards.Accomplishments of our business and my role in recent years, first and foremost would include navigating through a very difficult recession and being here to talk about it! Additionally, I was an integral part in final implementation and continued handling of our role as and Employee Owned Company. Since 2010 we have added 2 commercial locations in Sioux Falls, SD and the Twin Cities Metro, along with retail branch stores in Baxter, MN and Mankato, MN. The most rewarding part of my role as CEO and CFO is the pride that I can take in the people we have dedicated to our company. We have a long history and many, many dedicated individuals who have contributed to our many years of success. My goal is to continue our long tradition as a premium flooring and interiors provider, and continue to improve on what is already an outstanding company!

I also worked with community banks on compliance (Director's Exams), which helped give me a background in the banking and commercial finance aspect of business. Working with many different types of clients in primarily small to mid-sized companies was incredibly rewarding and an invaluable way to get to know a bit about many different types of business and business owners.
