As a recruiting coordinator, I review and verify applicants that are vying for a role with Rhino Staging, and I look to see if they strongly model the skills and abilities necessary to become a candidate for employment. With careful consideration, I move those candidates into a phone interview and qualifying stage, where I evaluate their expertise and performance reflected from their resume and commended from their references. I maintain contact with all new hires throughout the onboarding process and provide direction and education about our industry including new COVID policies and procedures, OSHA standards for working on job sites, and mentoring for team members new to the entertainment industry. From the hiring start gate, I am advantageous about performance evaluations and determining that our technicians and stagehands fit into more advanced roles and opportunities throughout their employment and I work with local universities and trade schools with entertainment/show production programs to make sure that their graduates have the industry related insight they need when transitioning out of their program. I procured services from third-party job posting apps to integrate into our labor pool for our larger stadium events. As an admin for those technologies, I create the event in the system, I hire from within their labor pool, and I verify the services that are being rendered. I also recruit in other markets throughout the country. Along with recruiting for all of Florida, I have also recruited in Tennessee, Missouri and Arizona.

As a team supervisor with Rhino Staging, I handle the forged relationship between my technical labor crew and the production team. I ensure that every team member is working effectively for the client and that our team is working in a safe manner. I also regulate schedules to ensure that the client stays within their budget and I designate and assign talent to the roles and sub-teams that would best serve the clients overall needs while on show.

Working for years with high profile executives in the role as a corporate AV specialist gave me the foundation and experience to work with well-recognized performers and talent for concerts and live events. I create and co-produce my own events as well as work in conjunction with other producers for their shows. Responsibilities include coordinating with labor and 3rd party production companies, booking travel and hotel accommodations, and working directly with talent to manage their schedule and personal details on the day of the event.

As the CEO and Founder of Breathe 150 Conference Inc., I created the business plan and the mission statement to give birth to the vision of this organization. I was a co-writer on the application process for the 501(c)(3) filing, and I also pioneered our social media campaign and web-design. Along with my co-founder, I built my board of directors and handle correspondence between third-party production and labor companies. I handle most of the creative look and branding on social media and I designed our logo which incorporates the vision behind our organization within the name. I'm responsible for telling our story through visuals and to connect families with the services that we provide.

As an independent contractor in the AV event space, I have the opportunity to be a integral part of the show by using my range of skills sets. Producers, directors, and project managers rely on me to setup general session and breakout rooms for major corporate events, and to assist touring shows with their event (concert) setup/strike. With over 20 years of experience as a camera operator, I know how to listen and respond to direction to get the right shot before it goes live.

As a Tech IV in the Entertainment division at Poseidon's Fury, I have the opportunity to work with one of the most talented group of actors and technical/production teams in the themed entertainment industry. Working from the control booth, Tech IV's run the show from an Allen Bradley touchscreen system and control audio levels from a software based PC audio board. All of the responsibilities of a Tech IV center around knowing the show and the building, watching for the cue transitions, verifying that the equipment is working properly, and keeping the actors and guests safe. Poseidon's Fury is a walk-through adventure fueled by the one-thousand year feud between mythical god Poseidon and his rival, Lord Darkenon. Guests get up close and personal with the powers of these mythical giants as they hurl fire and water at each other in an effort to conquer their opponent. The most important role that I get to play along with my team is giving guests a great show while visiting Universal Studios in Orlando Florida. Like the Wizard of Oz, I am the man behind the curtain pushing all of the buttons, so that multiple thousands of families can get the most out of their time with us at Universal Studios.

Video Engineer for the Stars Performance Program. Work with the Black Magic Design ATEM Production Studio 4k system along with the QLab show control software.

Duties include setting up and striking AV and staging equipment for events held at Universal Studios.

Show control operator for the Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle Event featuring the Death Eaters. Responsibilities include verifying that all show elements are ready for event. Coordinate with show director and actors to fire off pyrotechnics and lighting cues for dramatic effect. Utilizing wireless tablet control of show elements.

Assembled talented and qualified audiovisual teams for corporate, exhibit and sporting events throughout Orlando-Central Florida and Washington D.C. / Virginia territories. Responsibilities included assessing the needs of the client per their request, building accurate quotes within client budget, building and scheduling teams to serve the event, maintained open communication with client for updates and changes to the event, and served as the representative for large events that required a VTS on-site supervisor.

A Sales Manager of Event Technology has the pleasure of reaching out to new and returning clients to fashion a quote that details the scope of their event and to plan how audio-visual and show production technology services will fit into that mold. Utilizing my previous experience as an Event Technician, I was quickly able to adapt to building client orders and quotes in DaVinci, design room CAD diagrams in Vivien, and bring clients to quickly secure our services by building their trust in our brand. My clients grew to depend upon my personal touch and could count on me to attend their events and work alongside operations and my technical support staff to ensure that every detail of their event was set with excellence.

I completed my program at Full Sail University and now have a Master of Science degree in Entertainment Business. My goal was to take one year to fine tune my technical skills while adding a business degree to my credentials. I will continue to work hard to connect with industry leaders in the area of Family and Themed Entertainment with the hope of securing a position where I can make a significant difference in that industry. I finished with a 3.9 GPA and am looking forward to working in the themed entertainment industry in the areas of executive management, sales/marketing and advertising, strategic sales initiative, and promotions. Having a production background has given me the opportunity to discover the magic behind filmmaking and live events. As I enter the office as a manager or executive, I bring with me a sparkle in my eye that I plan on sharing with every family that enters into a theme park or produced event.

Instructional Support; Audiovisual and Distance Learning Technician for Georgia Regents University and GR Medical Research Hospital in Augusta,GA.

Responsible for all AV presentations for the corporate office and for most of the distance learning web-conferences and live broadcasts done online throughout the company (major tool used is Mediasite). Duties include setup of all presentations to be held on executive floors, maintenence of AV equipment throughout entire building, and strategic meeting planning with inside and outside organizations. Ongoing consultative work for possible AV redesign within the company. Currently working on the Infocomm Certified Technical Specialist (CTS) Certification.

Major role was developing the best strategy (technically) for servicing cable outages or technical issues for customers in the Hampton Roads area. Worked on a team that collaborated the fastest way to bring back reliable service to customers that had experienced an outage or were having some problems with their service.
