Stores Operative/Buyer - Involves overseeing the receipt, storage, issue, recording and traceability of all stock, raw materials, equipment, PPE and consumables. Liaising with other team members and departments including interacting with managers/leads of different areas of the organisation and assisting with control of annual budgets. Responsibilities include monitoring stock/consumables against inventory levels and re-ordering as required. Delivery of materials/equipment to work areas and external clients premises. Reporting of damaged materials to suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring these are closed out in a timely manner via our non-conformance quality systems procedure. Management of HSE within own area of responsibility. Provide material progress reports to supervisors/management. Monitoring and expediting of materials in line with production. Manage client & global assets spare parts requirements from quotation through to delivery either by Road, Air or Sea with completion of Export paperwork. Working alongside Finance to meet strict month end deadlines by ensuring GRNI entries are current. Monitoring and expediting of materials in line with production. Receiving and processing Material Requisitions in a timely and efficient manor, inputting data into the ERP System and placing purchase orders with approved suppliers. Assist with invoice query resolution avoiding delayed vendor payments. Control of Planned preventative maintenance register. Facilities management & Supplier management.
