I would describe myself as an analytical problem solver, where I've always had a knack for cutting through the noise to find root issues, especially if given the chance to stand back and observe. I know its cliché, but teamwork is critical. Many of our best decisions were reached through discussion and debate. I try hard to introduce different ways of looking at things, often with a focus on psychology, but always with the understanding that a paper solution is only useful if it works in the field. What do I have to offer:Over 10 years of experience in the construction industry with a good mixture of technical and project management experience, including quality, subcontractor management, construction planning and client meetings. I have recent experience with mass timber construction with specific knowledge on moisture management. I have worked on projects of all sizes and disciplines including highways, commercial and industrial buildings, infrastructure and mining. Among these were two award winning projects, one being a six-lane bridge spanning the South Saskatchewan River (Open the link below and click "view"). Having worked with experienced colleagues on nearly every phase of the project cycle, I have developed and demonstrated strong abilities in communication, risk assessment, quality management, planning and problem solving. Fundamentally I am detail oriented and so you can often find me flipping through drawings or sketching out an issue in preparation for a meeting. I’m always open to meeting new people so feel free to reach out!
