I was the project manager of the Renovate and Upgrade Facility: Illinois Youth Center project. This project is on a 56 acre site with 17 buildings and we have the duty of coordinating over 30 subcontractors.My responsibilities include:Submit Pencil copy and final Pay Applications to CDB each month and follow up with draw sheets and waiver requests, Compile all Change Orders and verify that all sub work is accounted for, Complete daily reports to verify sub work/personal as well as tracking Blinderman employee time, Review and process all incoming and outgoing submittals, Process incoming RFI from Project Managers and submit to AE if necessary, Update P6 schedule of current construction progress, Develop meeting minutes and compile all handouts for the weekly progress meetings, Conduct Safety orientations if the superintendent is unavailable, and scan and file all incoming paper documents as they enter the office.

My responsibilities involve pre-construction activities including: scheduling, estimating, recruiting sub-contractors, learning specifications and drawings, using On-Screen Take Off, and Primavera P6. I am also part of a team that is planning the move to our new location this summer, specifically scheduling and planning the breakout spaces and flex rooms.

As a student, I was very involved in various leadership roles on campus. This included Executive positions in ASCE, Triangle Fraternity, Society of Leadership and Success, Quidditch club, and Campus Crusade for Christ. I also participated in research with Professor Laurence Rohter in conjunction with fellow student William Strnad. I worked as a Peer Mentor and Office of Campus Life assistant. Finally with all of these activities, I still found time to keep my grades high, graduating with a 3.23 GPA.

I work directly under Nate Morriss PE SE. I attend meetings, work on presentations, prepare paperwork, update specifications, review drawings, and perform bridge inspections.Daily I work with the full Microsoft suite, Micro Station, and various internet search engines.

Worked closely with children in a leadership role. Worked with a team of other Rec Leaders to make sure the various camp programs ran smoothly. Developed a 6 week Play Camp schedule. Acted as a positive role model and resource for the children and other staff members, encouraging and supporting participants' academic, cultural, and spiritual interests.
