As a pharmacy assistant, my role is a combination of supplying medication to patient-specific wards and clinics, dealing with in-staff queries on certain medications, and working with the dispensary team to get discharged outpatient medication on the hatch and in-patient medication to the patients.Supplying medication to wards daily to medication that is specifically to carry out roles in that ward or clinic. Checking expiry dates and making sure all medication needed for that set period is there for clinical staff on the ward or clinic.Working on the hatch means giving a level of service for discharging outpatients to use certain NHS systems to get the medication prescribed for discharge screened for the pharmacist for them to be made for the patient after being screened by pharmacist technicians.On the other side of the hatch, I worked with providing in-patient medication and dealing with queries from staff about whether certain medications were available or able to be collected. Within these roles, I learned how to use different systems in which to operate these specific roles. Collectively working in multiple areas of pharmacy and assisting in any way I can to whatever task is given to me to do.

Working in multiple roles, such as service and replenishment roles, everywhere to be efficient and effective on the shop floor. Working on self-checkout and being head of supervising over that and all service tills while on self-checkout means my responsibility to have a rotation of staff so tills will be available for customers whenever needed for customer flow in and out of the store is sufficient.Replenishment of fresh items is also important, as is the importance of date checking within a certain period in which it has to be rotated. While also helping customers look for items when needed to provide the highest level of customer service. Non-fridge and freezer items are to be replenished also, but in a different manner of date checking than fridge items. Helping with deliveries of lorries and making sure everything is checked with the load we would receive daily and getting them in the specific fridges and stored correctly if not fridge or freezer items.My overall role was to help in any way I could around the shop floor, working in every role possible.

Worked in multiple roles in different departments as Bank staff in the NHS from Cytology, Histology, and Main Specimen Reception. My first role in Cytology was slide and paperwork filing, which then went onto Histology where I did a similar role with an adaptation of getting slides for consultants.In main specimen reception, I worked on Immunology and also helped with Virology when needed. This wasn't my only role in specimen reception also took deliveries for different labs whilst taking samples for patients.
