Responsible for providing a single point of contact, high quality, and responsive IT Service Desk service to all members of the University of Brighton, across all campuses and sites.The main activity is to record and respond to technical queries by phone and email, aiming to resolve as many as possible immediately, escalating to other support teams; both in-house and on-site third party maintenance contractors, where necessary, and the monitoring of all approaches to the IT Service Desk using Information Services online Service Desk system.In addition, the IT Service Desk provides second line support for Information Services Library Help Desk services, ensuring that a consistent level of support is provided to customers regardless of their contact point with Information Service.
