About Ryan Danker
My name is Ryan Danker and I have graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.B.A. in Accounting, and I am going back to Iowa this upcoming fall to pursue a Masters in Accountancy. I have been very involved in the Tippie College of Business here, always striving to push myself to learn as much as I can. I look forward to deepening my knowledge about accounting in this upcoming year, as well as making new relationships and strengthening existing ones.I grew up on a small farm in rural Iowa, which taught me the value of hard work and a positive attitude. Working on the farm as a young kid made me a hard worker, which is something that I have carried with me at every job I have been employed at since. Having a positive attitude was a necessity growing up, or else the situations felt too big and too overwhelming. As I have gotten older, no situation has seemed too daunting or scary, I firmly believe that if I keep my positive mindset that I can accomplish any task in front of me.My interest in the world of accounting has slowly grown since I took my first accounting class senior year of high school. When I started taking more accounting classes in college, I was able to learn more about the field and what it had to offer. I have gotten a lot of experience in the field between an internship in the audit field and another in the tax field in the last year as well. Accounting is something that I find myself enjoying more and more every single day and I am very excited to start as a federal tax associate with RSM US LLP in the fall of 2025!
