• Key functions have included assessing, sorting and organising a broad range of equipment from four schools as well as installing and configuring it at the new site• Additionally, devised and implemented all policies, systems and procedures for the new department to support the effective operation• Set up all HSE procedures for the new department to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and school policies; including COSHH procedures for the storage and use of a range of chemicals• Role includes line management responsibility for another Technician, including assigning duties and providing support as required• Other key duties include setting up equipment, experiments and exercises for science lessons, ordering of stock for the department, as well as providing in-class assistance and lesson cover when required
