I manage a team of 6 IT technicians working on a 24/7 shift helpdesk for a global entertainment and sports media company, based in a live studio environment that runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Responsible for scheduling, performance (including reviews and goal setting), identifying areas of weakness to develop training plans, technical escalation, and liaison with infrastructure (level 3) teams as well as monitoring SLA’s and various KPIs, all of which help to build a yearly review that include performance metrics such as customer satisfaction. Key technical responsibilities include: • JAMF Admin and EMEA escalation point. Creating policies and profiles supporting over 3500+ Mac devices. • Managing an annual agreed budget for AV across the whole of the EMEA region. Liaising with key business stakeholders to understand user needs and manage timescale expectations. • 3rd party vendor relationship • Creation and Termination of user accounts Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure, using Powershell commands to automate tasks across the creation and termination process. I have been technical lead on multiple EMEA based projects including the migration of Avaya, Shortel and Cisco telephony to Teams for Voice. I have been Involved with serval M&A’s that required migration of the new systems into the existing eco system. Assisting the broadcast engineering team with the TV Studio and editing equipment including AVID systems and black magic video encoders and switches.

Provided white glove AV support to C suite users across 5 London based offices. Day to day responsibilities included the testing and setup of important video conference calls both internal and external of the business. Completing preventative maintenance across all the companies AV real estate. Created documentation for users and techs for all existing and new equipment as well as running monthly open training sessions. Assisted the IT helpdesk and was given a dual role within the department splitting my time between supporting AV and working on the IT helpdesk. Researched and tested new video conferencing solutions that would help improve the existing solutions across the business. Key responsibilities of this role included: • Live IT and AV event support for global sport organisations including UFC, Wimbledon, The Open and the Snooker World Championships. • Rollout and support of Hyde Park Winter Wonderland systems, including POS and ticketing systems. • Configuration and support of Media Star and MW Core IPTV systems • System administrator for Polycom infrastructure including DMA, RM and RMX.

Following the merger of Multisense and Yorketel I was given more responsibility with complex installations. Responsible for installation and maintenance of all major Unified Conferencing brands (Polycom, Cisco, Vidyo, etc.) Project lead on various EU and US customer installations, including planning, preparation of documentation, and delivering training to end users.

Specialist in installation and maintenance of on and offsite Polycom Video and Audio Conferencing for several high profile Private & Public sector clients.Completed several Polycom qualifications, including certifications in the Solutions, Service and Technical fields.Pioneered a revolutionary self-powered video conferencing cart, which allows doctors to have the highest quality live video. This has enabled highly specialised consultants to talk and promptly diagnose patients and alleviate travel time and costs.Designed and programmed bespoke control systems, predominantly using Extron IP Link control systems.
