General QualificationsMr. McDonald has a strong background in GIS/GIT Technician, Engineering Technician, Transportation Engineering Technician and LiDAR. He has 20 years of experience in data capture and manipulation using ArcGIS, MicroStation, Feature Extraction and Power GeoPAK/ORD. Mr. McDonald is an experienced AutoCAD user and has an excellent working knowledge of Telecommunications land base data capture and Telecommunications facility data capture in all its phase. Telecommunications work was done in the Intergraph FRAMME products using tools developed on top of the core FRAMME functionality. Also, he has an outstanding working knowledge of roadway data capture and feature data collection in MDOT Statewide Roadway Inventory. Features were in my duties mapping included utilities, signals, poles, signs, top of railroad tracks, buildings, breaklines, spot elevations, platforms, clearances, drainages, ditches, manholes, sewers, waters’ edge, fences, curbs , concrete slabs or pads, sidewalks, paved roads and unpaved roads, etcs.He’s currently work at MDOT Carthage Project Office and has 7 years of experience in ProjectWise Explorer and CADD analysis from field survey.Mr. McDonald also has two-year degree and two years of experience in AutoCAD from Hinds Community College with a courses include: Introduction to Drafting, Fundamentals of Drafting, Principal of CAD, Intermediate CAD, Advanced CAD, Machine Drafting I & II, Architectural Design I & II, Mapping and Topography, and Special Project or Approved Elective.
