I started my professional career in 2001 when I went to work for the family Business. I found my niche in the coffee industry and was very successful, going on to compete and win competitions at a national level. I Then started High Road Training and Consulting and took over ownership of Baristas Daily Grind. Throughout the years I have had the opportunity to travel all over the US and parts of the world teaching, training and speaking about coffee and business. As a business owner I have a passion for the "People Process and Product"​ aspect of consulting and continue to help businesses see a better way and improve process. I sold My coffee shop in 2012 and went to work for Orthman Manufacturing. I have been able to use my education in Social Work to really try and make a difference in the employees lives. I handle all recruiting, Wellness and Supervisor training along with culture change efforts daily.  I have since gained valuable experience in retail sales and Multi Unit (10+ stores) sales leadership, Multi Unit Operations Management, Recruiting, Staffing, and HR.  I have recently completed my MBA with a HR emphasis as well as acquired my SHRM (CP) certificationI am a motivational leader committed to creating a people first culture rooted in development and growth. I pride myself in having a high level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness, and the ability to take on and solve unique and complex strategic business challenges and issues that may arise. I am an Entrepreneur, Human Resources, Organizational Development, and Sales professional. I have been fortunate enough to travel the world consulting, teaching, and speaking about business, sales, leadership, and my craft. I am confident in my ability to attract and retain the highest level of talent as well as helping people see and achieve their full potential while creating a culture that people can develop in and help the organization achieve its business goals. I am a natural leader and thrive in coaching, learning, and motivating situations.
