At the counter, more than 90% of CDD customers (nearly 1,000 surveys completed) report good or better service.• Led the effort to streamline plan review services. This fiscal year, over 30% of the 1,000+ commercial remodel projects were approved the same day they were submitted.

Project manager for some of Sacramento's most important projects including the $50 million Citizen Hotel. Managed multi-disciplinary teams of employees from Community Development, Economic Development, Planning, Development Engineering, Department of Transportation, and The Fire Department. Helped develop and negotiate Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) between developers and City staff. Acted as the central point of contact for the developer’s team from concept to completion. Key member of a team that successfully designed and implemented a cost accounting system for community development. This effort allowed our department to make accurate, data driven budget decisions for the first time.Served a one-year rotation in the Planning Department. This $3.5 million project helped to stabilize The Hearst Castle entrance road. Provided structural design support for Empire Ranch, a 2000+ home community in Folsom, CA. Structures included bridges, culverts, wood and masonry buildings, retaining walls, and large storage tanks. Designed several masonry and timber structures for California State Parks.
