While following the leadership of the General Manager, I am directly responsible for the management of the store’s operations and sales teams, inventory control, purchasing, safety program, DOTprogram, scheduling installations, production and manpower, and fleet management functions. Ensure that the Store operates in a safe, efficient, and effective manner; producing quality products;maximizing customer satisfaction; minimizing on-the-job accidents and employee turnover; and increasing store revenue and profitability.

Coordinated startup and developed marketing, sales, and targeted strategies for business development for Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties for all company offerings including, but not limited to, construction and mining equipment sales and attachments, crusher wear parts, filters, and pumps. Established new vendors and significantly increased profit margin for all transactions pertaining to purchases and sales by 300%, while directing, operating, and communicating, with each of the new and also current vendor accounts establishing very strong and exclusive business partnerships. Executed sales of construction and mining parts and equipment to the likes of Vulcan, Hanson Aggregates, Superior Ready Mix, R.J. Noble Co., County of Riverside Transportation, and County of San Bernardino. Directly reengineered, managed and structured the sales department by establishing new incentives, sales programs, and employee benefits. Within 3 months of the newly developed sales staff, there was an increase in sales of 175%, as well as an increase in newly established customer accounts by 50%. Personally established, designed, and operated a new inventory stocking warehouse, as well as maintain all stock levels which included responsibilities of tracking product movement, establishing forecasted product sales, and designing a new ordering system. Reviewed and approved all pertinent sales and purchasing transactions before payment, and organized and maintained a rebate system.

Managed and executed all purchases for the entire organization, while also analyzing cost fluctuation and tracking spending trends for each department. Initiated and developed new vendors, which led to a decrease in costs by more than 25% within the first six months. Responsible for reviewing vendor invoices and quotes to verify correct pricing, as well as gathering all pertinent information for each sale, and approving each verified purchase. Generated new accounts and increased material sales within the southern California region, while also evaluating potential accounts and their ability to obtain credit and their estimated activity. Directly implemented stocking programs for parts and supplies to reduce down time and cost, which has been adapted by other departments within the organization and has become the new process or which items are purchased and inventoried.
