My separate drivetrain research project on optimising gear ratios focuses on:-Creating gear ratio cascade diagrams using Matlab to ensure variables are accurately defined;-Benchmarking against stock ratios for a Yamaha R6 Engine using track and dynamometer data;-Optimising current ratios considering transmission efficiency and tractive limit;-Implementing ratios on the Brunel Racing vehicle and validating these on the track.
