I am a Sales Associate at 10X Genomics. I recently received my Genetics, Genomics, and Systems Biology PhD at the University of Chicago with a Bachelor's in BioMolecular Engineering. In my time at UChicago, I have worked on single-cell transcriptomics, focusing on developing a protocol for the scRNA-seq of yeasts. I also gained skills in data analysis, microfabrication, and other molecular biology skills. My background in engineering includes skills such as bioreactor design and kinetics and various other unit operations. Beyond science, I have a special interest in social justice issues, helping lead a diversity recruitment and retention team during my years at Uchicago.
