I am a Marine Officer with a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from North Carolina State University. I specialize in littoral combat operations, project management, and force protection. I have been serving in the United States Marine Corps since May 2021, and I am currently a Small Boat Platoon Commander, responsible for 30 Marines and numerous seaborne assault craft.In my current role, I am innovating to develop and implement new doctrine with regard to small boat operations. I have participated in a multinational exercise in the Middle East, where I demonstrated my communication, problem-solving, and record of success skills. I am passionate about leading and empowering my team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence, and contributing to the mission and vision of the USMC. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the table, thanks to my Project Global Officer Scholarship, which enabled me to learn the cultural and language intricacies of the Portuguese speaking world.
