2020-2021: responsibilities extended to Ferrara’s entire nine US manufacturing network of supply chain teams. Five of them added and integrated through acquisition of new brands. 2018-2019: Leader of Ferrara’s Chicagoland manufacturing warehouse system. Leadership responsibilities include plant warehouse teams, one raw and packaging material supply warehouse, and two third party supply warehouses.

Led material management, production planning, and outbound shipping team for confectionary manufacturing facility in Bellwood, IL. The department was responsible for inbound planning and receiving of raw materials, supplying production materials, outbound shipping of finished goods, and inventory control in a fast paced production environment.

2nd and 3rd shift supervisor for a direct store distribution center that delivered Coca-Cola products. The distribution center was part of a Midwest franchised bottling network owned and operated by Reyes Holdings.Highlights include:- Led up to 70 union employees including order builders, forklift operators, maintenance, janitorial, and inventory clerks.- Helped turn around a very poor work culture to an operation with accountability. Before and at the beginning of my tenure the shifts were performing around 85% to standard/minimum efficiency. We turned around the warehouse to be around 110% to standard. - Was contributor in warehouse leadership team that brought overtime percentage from a baseline of 18% to an average of 10%.- Developed a method using SAP-ERP, MS access, and excel to effectively manage day to day labor while abiding by union contract stipulations.- Coached and mentored high potential employees to be future leaders for company. - Was project champion for company’s 5S initiative and helped create standard practices throughout the distribution centers.- Chosen by senior leadership to speak about lean practices and new initiatives at the operations “boot camps” held by the company.- Helped train newly acquired distribution centers on SAP - CONA (Coke One North America) ERP system.

- Led transportation and warehouse personnel in safe, efficient, and effective distribution of alcoholic beverage products throughout southwestern Los Angeles County.- Obtained Class A CDL license for intra-state transportation. Led defensive driving courses for Reyes Beverage CDL drivers.- Initiated new ways to manage inventory placement in the warehouse. This increased productivity of our nightly loading operations by decreasing travel time and ensuring proper stock amounts in our selecting areas. Due to efforts in re-organizing the warehouse we also decreased amount of case touches that our route drivers had to perform at our small store accounts.- Managed company’s pilot of DriveCam system at the field level. The new system reduced incidents by 75%. DriveCam was then implemented company wide and our local transportation team was best in class in DriveCam’s coaching effectiveness metric.- Monitored DOT hours of service to ensure compliance.- Used data and core company values to recognize high performing employees and drive key performance indicators.- Was field leader in testing of new on board computer systems that track driver performance and DOT compliance. Tested multiple vendors/technologies and reported to corporate leadership team on performance.- Utilized Six Sigma knowledge and leadership to reduce damaged product by 38%.- Selected to be a part of the support/integration teams of new beverage warehouse acquisitions.
