Since arriving at Transparent it feels as though it's been a matter of "drinking from the fire hose," so to speak. Learning new policies and practices daily, work at a Managed Service Provider with 30+ clients has been anything but slow. Since arriving I have been trusted to self-schedule, converse and interact with clients, and perform all troubleshooting (both at a client's site and at the office) in a timely and effective manner.

Working with the awesome people at Nucleus Networks was a whole different kind of learning experience. With a team of seasoned administrators that knew the meaning of work hard, play hard I was able to see just how efficient a workplace could be while retaining an air light-hearted fun.

I was fortunate enough to land a position at my place of study. At BCIT I worked under an existing IT staff, performing tasks they saw fit to delegate to me on the night shift while they were not there. These duties included troubleshooting for students/instructors, performing maintenance on full classrooms of workstations (both Mac and MS), and compiling documentation.
