I have worked with a wide variety of clients and stakeholders, including Indigenous Australians, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, statutory agencies, regulatory bodies, not-for-profits and private enterprise. It was founded in 1982 by Japan's leading Ninjustu historian Shunichiro Yunoki, a highly renowned and skilled Ninjustu Practitioner and Researcher who translated (decoded) the original Ninjutsu Manual (compiled in the late 17th Century) into contemporary Japanese. Mr Yunoki's dream was to showcase the way of the Ninja to both the Japanese community and the entire world. I met all timeframes to ensure the funding commenced upon the young person turning 18. The programme ran over 13 weeks and was developed for individuals with histories of offending behaviour.The programme was a joint-venture between Queensland Health and Disability Services and was highly regarded by the Mental Health Review Tribunal. Post-programme reports were often used by the Tribunal in assessing whether to continue or cease mental health orders for individuals.The programme applied a cognitive-behavioural, interactive and demonstrative approach to increase participants’ problem-solving skills, capacity and to decrease offence-related thinking and behaviour.As one of the facilitators, I managed interpersonal conflicts within the group as the men had varying strengths, personalities, needs and preferences and the facilitators needed to manage these situations in a firm, respectful and diplomatic manner.Conducted pre-assessments with participants prior to the commencement of the programme, to measure factors such as problem-solving, provocation tendencies and general health and wellbeing.Conducted post-programme assessments to compare results from the initial assessments and also use the findings when finalising each individual’s report.Provided weekly feedback of each session to key stakeholders as well as an overview of each session.Individual reports were submitted to key stakeholders at the conclusion of the programme, including the individuals’ engagement, progress and future recommendations.
