Hi, I'm Ryan! I'm a financial advisor who believes everyone has the right to learn about personal finance. I graduated college with two degrees: one in economics and one in business management. But do you want to hear something funny? When I started my career as a middle school math and science teacher, I opened my first credit card and ran up the balance, nearly maxing it out. "Credit card" just means "free money," right? I also had this thing called a 401k and had a question or two (or a million) about how it worked. What was a Roth? Should I put money in my retirement accounts? Or should I pay off my student loans first? I'm supposed to be building my emergency reserves, too? Here I was, a well-educated college graduate who could talk to you all day about high level economics and management theory, but had very little fundamental knowledge about the real world when it came to personal finance. So, I got help. I started working with Kylen Financials, Inc. and earned my financial literacy merit badge! Fast forward to present day and I'm now the owner of Kylen Financials.
