Quality Assurance Specialist
CurrentMonitor quality of company operational processes and outputs from Engineering to ensure that processes and products consistently meet established quality standards for planning and execution of a major engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning (EPCC) project in Pasadena, Tx.Review and confirm quality contractual requirements and deliverables have been captured within tenders, Request for Quote (RFQ), Scope of Work’s (SOW), Document Data Submittal Requirements (DDSR) and commercial subcontracts.Support engineering in review and approval of quality related technical submittals from Subcontractors and Suppliers in Fusion Data Base. Approval documentation includes Drawings, Specifications, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Technical Queries, and Work procedures/processes.Approve selection of Supplier Quality Surveillance (SQS) candidates for inspection assignments. Provide mechanical technical support for Pre-inspection Meetings (PIM) to vendors and SQS inspectors. Review SQS inspection reports to ensure that processes and products consistently meet project quality standards. Provide technical support to SQS coordinator and SQS inspectors.Review and approve turnover documentation in form of Manufacturer Document Records (MDR) such as inspection records, as-built dwgs, Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) reports, hydrotest reports, Material Test Reports (MTR), and weld travelers for conformance to project specifications and standards
